Position Title: Process Engineer Quality

Job Description
As a key member of the Quality and Technical Team the successful applicant will be responsible for driving improvement in many aspects of the business. The role’s main focus will be working proactively within a manufacturing environment to support the Quality Improvement agenda, aimed at eliminating quality related problems to improve customer satisfaction and support business growth. The successful applicant will support the Operations team with problem solving and implementation of actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively contribute to the site Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) culture. Ensuring compliance to site rules of both self and fellow co-workers.
- Lead investigation of manufacturing quality/technical issues, identifying root cause and proactively driving implantation of robust CAPA with measures to confirm effectiveness
- Produce A3 and/or technical reports for deviations and quality/process issues
- Lead process for effective review and record of management of change tasks and use a risk based approach to ensure risks are identified and controlled before live implementation
- Manage validation and verification activities across the business
- Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products from suppliers, monitor and report on compliance and performance
- Through understanding of customer expectations and requirements, develop and execute effective control and inspection plans
- Monitor and report on quality related key performance indicators using data to prevent occurrence of non-conformity relating to product, process or system
- Carry out product and process auditing based on ISO 9001:2015 and BRC Packaging Materials Version 6
- Delivery training as needed to support quality awareness
- Assist and support as needed in complaint investigation
Requirements:
- Fluent spoken and written English; other languages advantageous.
- Self-starter capable of taking the initiative.
- Experience in change management, stakeholder management, and influencing people.
- Problem solving and decision-making ability.
- Programming ability (advantageous).
