Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Work with Supply Chain specialists within the DS Smith team to extend the SMI (Supplier Managed Inventory) project to other UK sites. NPD, growth, projects from D&I to Commercial presentation.. drive profitable growth
• Continuous Improvement
• Relationship Management:
• Be the first point of contact for Customer queries / questions from Hub Planning, Materials, Site Schedulers, Production, PCM’s (Product Change Managers), BD (Business Development) at Mondelēz.
• OTIF
• Liaise with DS Smith Production sites, predominantly Belper, to ensure that requirements are met in line with production schedules / requirements at Bournville location in line with OTIF (On Time In Full) targets
• Product Efficiencies
• Analyse forecast data to establish best Exact Order Quantity for each SKU to drive most efficient production at DS Smith sites in line with Commercial guidelines
• Strock/Inventory Reduction
• Work with Bournville Hub Planners / Schedulers to agree the right stocking principles to ensure Bournville plant achieves production targets whilst delivering inventory reduction at both Mondelēz and DS Smith
• Aged/Obsolete Stock

Requirements:

• Vehicle utilisation
• Work with Scheduling teams and DS Smith Transport to maximise load fill in line with contractual targets and reducing Emergency or extra delivery requirements.
• Forecast Analysis
• Analyse customer data to establish trends/monitor movements against budgets and link data to market trends & insights.
• Continuous Improvement
• Make proactive recommendations regarding opportunities identified.
• People
• Develop and map relationships with key stakeholders at Mondelēz and across DS Smith to be seen as a key player in our supplier/customer relationship. Ensure that all parties are adhering to SLA principles and ways of working
