Job Description

The role is as much about creative thinking and building integrated campaigns as it is speaking to journalists and providing in-house counsel to internal stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for creating and implementing media campaigns on a regular basis that span from local and regional campaigns to national moments. You will also be involved in project work with colleagues from the corporate affairs function as well as the day to day press office, so be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get involved. Whilst you won’t directly manage a team, you will be expected to support more junior team members across the wider team as and when required.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of national and local media with contacts across the national media
• Delivering creative campaigns either in-house or in an agency, with a financial services or personal finance background
• Experience using social media for integrated campaigns
• Experience of working in an integrated corporate affairs team and a willingness to learn skills across different functions
• Brilliant at communicating and building strong relationships with internal partners and providing in-house counsel
