Job Description

The Sourcing Manager will support the Senior Manager with the seasonal placement, management and delivery of production, in a manner congruent with the calendar, delivery and margin goals of the division.

Responsibilities:

• Manage team efficiency through monitoring workload & prioritization, sets goals, provides continuous feedback conducts annual performance reviews and manages performance issues as needed.
• Monitor on-time deliveries from vendors, troubleshooting with team & business partners as necessary
• Participate in weekly customer service and production status meetings, reports key areas of concerns and expected resolutions.
• Partner with quality assurance and Technical team to resolve quality issues as needed and to ensure application of best practice across all product groups as appropriate.
• Requests seasonal forecasts on key floor set groups and agrees raw material pre buys with Planning and Merchandising teams, works with vendors to ensure buys are placed, study pre-buy vs. actual & work with raw materials team to identify shortfalls or excess across division.
• Support team to partner with product dev. each season on fit approval dates required by production calendar & ensure compliance and that all target dates are hit to enable the Time and Action Calendar to be achieved.
• Support team to manage final price negotiations & margin of FG, providing seasonal price analyses across vendors and product categories, is jointly responsible for achieving target margins through collaboration with PD and merchandising.

• Previous team management experience
