To provide support for the press office through media monitoring, responding to incoming press and media enquiries and management of some smaller PR campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the efficient dissemination, analysis and filing of daily press coverage.
- Managing the press office database for all media contacts to ensure they are up-to-date and comprehensive.
- Measure results and compiling reports against targets set by the Head of News.
- Managing press film crews onsite ensuring the agreed protocols and security requirements are followed and liaise with Museum Events team around the logistics for press events.
- Management of some smaller PR campaigns and liaising where needed with external PR agencies
- Responsible for maintenance and supply of press files on Dropbox, selecting and sourcing high quality images for publicity purposes.
- Other duties as required.
