Responsibilities:

• the co-ordination of school admissions;
• providing advice and guidance to schools/academies and parents on school admission legislation;
• determining entitlement to free school travel assistance for children attending mainstream schools
• assessing eligibility to free school meals and school uniform grants

Requirements:

• Whilst the successful post holder will be expected to work across the whole team as required
• they will be particularly responsible for supporting the processes required to secure school places for children starting at primary or secondary school – working closely with colleagues, parents and schools to ensure that all services are provided in accordance with established policy and practice, and within statutory timeframes.
